In the "Modern Day Slavery" episode I discuss what the definition of slavery is, it's origins, and how we as a society can see aspects of slavery in our modern world.

In this episode, I begin a mini-series on media and its influence on relationships, body positivity, and gender norms. I do a peer analysis on the state of relationships in the 21st century and the media. 

In this episode I explore the beginnings of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and how it functioned. I also look at the key players in the trade along who was impacted in a negative and positive way. 

In the last episode of the mini-series, Gideon and I discussed the television show RuPaul's Drag Race and its challenge to societal gender norms and expression.

During this episode, I sat down with Katie Peterson who wrote a book of poems called Jin & Tonic discussing the complexities of her childhood, identity, and womanhood throughout her college experience.
